My absolute favorite Indian! Everything tastes so delicious. The take away during Corona times also works very well. Despite the 15 minute delivery time, the food is still really warm and there is no loss of taste at all. Dear Maharaja team: Please hold on during this difficult time! You're doing really great!

Outstanding restaurant! We are not from Prien and always order something there when we are in the vicinity and then make a little detour. For me the best Indian in the district!

The food was ok, but the man who served us was artificially friendly at one point, and incredibly rude at another time.

Very tasty food in a stylish atmosphere. Inexpensive lunch menus from Monday to Friday. from € 6.40 (including soup and dessert). Very friendly service. Parking for free in the yard. And very clean toilets. Absolute recommendation.

We came across this small but incredibly good restaurant by chance during a short vacation. And what can we say: terrific! The food was fantastic. And not only that. During this visit we also learned a lot about the food and its origins, the spices and the meaning that the hosts looked after very well and in a friendly manner. The restaurant is a little gem and we can only recommend it. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

We discovered the Maharaja in Prien in August and have been there several times. We are very enthusiastic about the delicious selection, the cozy atmosphere and above all the really nice and friendly service. Thank you Tip: the most delicious samosas ever.

Indian restaurant, modern furnishings with a very attentive staff. We had a lentil soup and a spicy chicken soup. Furthermore .. Murg Nilgiri and Chicken Saag ... super seasoned and piquant. Everything was delicious ... you have to go there ...

Very authentic Indian restaurent. The food is very close to what you get in India. Not super spicy or salty but very flavorful. The staff is very humble and courteous. Higjly recommended. We will go again of we are in that area.

Instead of 35min delivery time, 60min !!! I ordered sweet and sour duck for € 14 and got 4 pieces of duck with more fat and skin on it than "edible meat". Sweet and sour sauce consisted of exactly 5 pieces of paprika and a single piece of pineapple !! Pure rubbish !!!! Sorry !!!! I would be ashamed to the core!

Had lunch with three people. We all loved the food. Service very friendly. One of the best Indian restaurants I've visited so far. (and there are several) We reserved a table for the next day (evening). Would recommend this restaurant immediately. Praise to the cook. Keep it up ?.

Price-performance okay. Service great, quick service a few minutes after arrival. However, you could look in peace what you want :) Stay about 1 hour for two. One drink and one main course each around € 40. Great for a quick meal. However, every dish is slightly spicy for sensitive people.

Great Indian food and not too salty like a lot of German Indian restaurants. Washed down with Mango Sekt. ? Nice to sit outside. The service is super friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.

Serving uncooked chunks of vegetable in tomato sauce(passata) with some spices and calling it Vegetable Jhalfrezi doesn't make it one. Dal makhani is not supposed to have a bright orange hue and Kadhai paneer is not supposed to be sweet . The worst overpriced Indian restaurant I've ever been to and I have been to many.

Her me out- it doesnt matter how it looks like from the outer side, the place is worth every cent i spent there. Usually you got good, cheap or much food, but here theyre combining it together. Really, im surprised by the quality of the meals, the portiins and veeery nice service. 6/5.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in continental Europe (better than Indian restaurants in Paris!!!) . The daal makhni with roti are as authentic and rustic as one finds in Punjab. The owners are extremely affable and hospitable. Worth visiting this little lake-side town if you are an Indian food connoisseur.

Not good at all. I have no idea how this place has 4.7 stars.. Vegetables were frozen not fresh. Curries tasted like they were from a can out of the super market..

Went there for lunch on the way to Königsee, about an hour drive away! It was excellent! One of those authentic Indian Restaurants. Loved the place, and the service! Also, excellent quantity (and quality of course) and worth the cost. Highly recommend this place :)

So good. You will not regret stopping here. Such hospitable staff and probably the best butter chicken I’ve ever had. The starting soup was also amazing and unlike anything I’ve ever had. I’m back in the states now and still thinking about this meal! Great dining experience!

Stopped in here with my family on our drive to Salzburg - AMAZING food and service. Our waiter was so passionate about the food and it came through in how everything tasted. They also gave us complementary soup to start which was AMAZING! I live in NYC and this was better than anything I have tried here. Thanks again!

The owner is a young Indian couple. Interior is pull of pictures depicting Punjab. Food was great and service was very quick. The owners are very friendly. Their attention to detail is remarkable. We enjoyed the food and our time in their restaurant. Based upon my experience, I would ? % recommend.
